Rapper DMX house raided by police, dogs seized

Rapper DMX’s home was raided by police after they got a tip more than a week ago that his dogs where kept in inhumane conditions. On Friday police raided the home and seized several pit bulls, but has not made an arrest.

The dogs were not being fed properly or given water. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, had not been to his Arizona home at least two months. His lawyer said he was “extremely disturbed” to hear about the dogs condition.

“We had a caretaker that wasn’t taking care, that’s what happened,” said Simmons lawyer. “He loves dogs – he loves these animals. Those dogs are practically his family.”
