Recently posted on USAElectionPolls.com are the results of a few straw polls taken around the country. Barack Obama has won each of the Democratic straw polls that they have posted.
On August 22, 2007; they posted a link to a Stanford University straw poll of 150 students -- Barack Obama was the winner.
Today they have posted a link to the Vermont Democratic Party website -- a straw poll of about 800 votes -- that had Barack Obama winning with 36%.
The straw polls are a bit dated, the Vermont straw poll was held August 1, 2007 and the Stanford poll was held back in April. Nevertheless, the mere mention of such dated polls suggest increased interest in the results of straw polls.
