With 28% of 160 votes cast, Ron Paul was the winner of the Washington State straw poll. Coming in after him were the front runners Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, and Mitt Romney with 25%, 18%, 8% respectively.
Straw polls are unscientific measures of supports. They are often seclusive to members or groups within factions and can vary greatly.
