Michigan Fails to Comply with NCAA Rules

The NCAA has determined that Michigan’s football program has failed to comply with practice time rules.  Michigan will appear at an NCAA hearing in August regarding the infraction.  Although they are conducting an internal investigation, Michigan’s head coach Rich Rodriguez has admitted that they have made “mistakes” and that they “misinterpreted” the rules.  This adds another chapter to Rodriguez’s disappointing tenure as coach.
