Britney Spears has run in with police

Britney Spears was pulled over by Los Angeles police on Saturday morning. The troubled star was pulled over for speeding near downtown L.A.

Spears was reportedly cooperative with police and got away with out a ticket. The singer had two of her dancers with her at the time and after being pulled over, Spears reportedly let one of them drive her Mercedes.

The ‘Toxic’ singer is currently being investigated by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The society received complaints after Spears new puppy, London, reportedly broke its leg. Some reported that the dog was not receiving proper treatment for the injury. Others reported London was wearing a cast.

Spears is also in the middle of a messy custody battle with ex husband Kevin Federline. He has subpoenaed many people close to Spears including her former assistant, cousin and bodyguard. Federline wants them to testify in court on Spears’ mothering skills. As of right now the pair has joint custody of their two sons, but Federline is seeking primary custody following Spears’ display of erratic behavior. He says she is not fit to take care of the young boys.
