Diane Zamora in first interview ever says ‘I’m not a killer’

In her first TV interview ever Diane Zamora says she wants to set the record straight about what really happened the night of the ‘Texas Cadet Murder’ and her involvement in the case. Zamora was convicted in the infamous case but says she is ‘not a killer.’

Diane Zamora and David Graham, ‘high school sweethearts’ were convicted in the murder of a 16-year-old girl. Zamora confessed she killed Adrianne Jones on December 4th, 1995. Zamora admits she witnessed the murder and helped hide it for more than a year, but insists she never planned to kill Jones.

She initially confessed to police that she hit Jones in the back of the head with a weight, and Graham shot her. She also said she order Graham to kill Jones.

Zamora now says she didn’t tell the truth in her confessing, she was only repeating what police had read her out of Graham’s confession.

The interview will air on NBC “Dateline.”
