Trainer at SeaWorld Killed after Being Pulled into Tank at Shamu Stadium

A trainer at the SeaWorld Orlando theme park was killed on Wednesday after being pulled into the killer whale tank at Shamu Stadium.

According to reports the trainer had her back to the tank as she explained an upcoming show to guests when the whale grabbed her by her waist and pulled her into the water. Witnesses said the whale thrashed her around and by the time paramedics arrived she was dead.

After the attack SeaWorld ushered guests out of the park before closing for the day.
