USAElectionPolls.com acknowledges Bill Richardson's stronger poll number in Western states but attributes that to better name recognition than anything else. It will help in the primaries, says USAElectionPolls.com but they go on to say that whether it helps him in a general election is yet to be seen.
Richardson has been averaging about 8.0% in the Western states for July and August; compared to just 2.5% in February so he is moving up in those polls. But he is also moving up in states all across the United States. From 4.0% in Arizona to 9.0%. From 1.0% in Iowa to 11.5%. From 4.5% in Nevada to 11.0%. From 1.0% to 8.6%.
