Bed and Breakfast Victorian Charm in the Heart of the Ozarks

If you’re looking for a place to immerse yourself in the Victorian era, Eureka Springs Arkansas Bed and Breakfast just might be the right place for you.

Once in town stepping back in time is quite easy. Horse-drawn carriage rides go up and down Eureka Springs’ famed boulevard with its stately homes. An oil burning train leaves the Eureka Springs depot and winds its way through the Ozark Mountains.

Back in town, a first stop for the traveler might be the Eureka Springs Historical Museum, which was built in 1889 and turned into a museum in 1971. Walking tours are another way to get a good feel fro the town. Maps and brochures are available at the Chamber of Commerce, which is located on the east side of town at Pine Mountain Village. For water sport enthusiasts, Eureka Springs is surrounded by lakes, prime for fishing and boating. Or for the more adventurous, rent a canoe and paddle down the White River.

1884 Bridgeford House B&B
This peach-colored Victorian delight is nestled in the heart of the Eureka Springs Historic District. Rooms feature antiques and are decorated in a wonderfully charming Victorian style with private entrances. Guests will enjoy the fresh, hot coffee and a selection of teas in their suites, and the large gourmet breakfast is the perfect way to start the day. Enjoy the horse-drawn carriage rides down Eureka Springs’ famed boulevard with its stately homes.

Cliff Cottage Inn - Six Luxury B&B Suites and two Historic Cottages
The inn features, as one of its six houses, a "painted lady" Eastlake Victorian (Sears' first kit home!) and is the only B&B in the very heart of Eureka Springs' Historic Downtown. The houses, all in a row and lovingly restored, are listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places.  A favorite for romantic getaways or gals' shopping/spa trips, the inn boasts private-entrance suites all with double Jacuzzis, mini-fridges stocked with complimentary Champagne or white wine, and an elf delivers a full-gourmet breakfast right to your door.  There are also two individual cottages with private outdoor hot tubs.  Off-street parking for all guests and just 17 steps down to Main Street and all the neat shops and galleries!

Red Bud Manor
Designed for relaxing, this Victorian bed and breakfast inn boasts an English Country motif that reflects a stately manor house filled with elegant antiques. Enjoy afternoon refreshments and evening dessert on the columned front porch with wicker furnishings. Guest bedrooms feature outside entrances, fresh flowers, luxury linens, coffeemakers and mini refrigerators stocked with complimentary beverages. Stay in the Garden Room with a private covered terrace and side-by-side Jacuzzi. Breakfast is served in the parlor amid English and French antiques or on the screened porch overlooking the rock terraced gardens bursting with colorful perennials, dogwoods, lilacs, red buds and a koi pond. Located in the historic loop, it is an easy walk to local spas, shops and restaurants.

1908 Ridgeway House B&B
Located on a quire street off the town’s historic loop, Ridgeway House is a Southern Revival-style inn. Large porches and decks invite both guest and resident cats. Rooms feature high ceilings, antique iron beds, ceiling fans and four poster cherry beds. The Garden of Eden suite has a kitchenette, Jacuzzi tub for two and private deck overlooking the woods. A guest kitchen is stocked with refreshments. Formal gourmet breakfasts and homemade evening desserts are served in the dining room.

The Heartstone Inn & Cottages
Described as a “pink and white confection,” this handsomely restored Victorian with it wraparound verandas is a proud addition in the historic district. The award-winning inn is filled with antiques and art-work from the innkeeper’s native England. Live music is features: in May a fine arts festival and in September, a Jazz festival. Afternoon refreshments are available on the sunny deck overlooking a wooded ravine. Pink roses line the picket fence surrounding the inviting garden.

5 Ojo Inn B&B
Guests at 5 Ojo choose between lodging in cottages or in one of the two restored Victorian homes, the Ojo House and the Sweet House. Each room is decorated with antiques, but include modern amenities such as refrigerators, coffee makers and a complimentary basket of snacks. Nine rooms include whirlpool tubs and seven offer fireplaces. Honeymooners often select the Carriage House Cottage or the Anniversary Suite. The Anniversary Suite includes a sunken Jacuzzi and private porch with a swing. Three-course gourmet breakfasts are served in the Sweet House’s dining room, but private dining can be arranged.
