Total Lunar Eclipse to be Visible in Japan next Tuesday

For the first time in six years people in Japan will be able to witness a total lunar eclipse next Tuesday.  According to The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, the phenomenon will actually be visible to the entire country and others worldwide.

 

The total eclipse, in which the entire full moon passes through the earth’s umbral shadow, can be widely seen in Canada, United States, South America, the Pacific Ocean, Western Asia and Australia on the same day.
