Lance Briggs Charged in Lamborghini Crash
The $350,000 Lamborghini that was discovered on Interstate Highway 94 early morning belonged to Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs and now the five-year pro is facing charges related to leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane usage.
Briggs met with police Monday afternoon and was cited for the violations. After posting $100 bond Briggs was released from police custody.
The two-time Pro Bowler signed a one-year deal worth $7.2 million in July. The agreement ended a long holdout that Briggs’ had threatened to continue until the 10th week of the season.
