Monitoring of Chemicals in the Indoor Environment with IAQ Screen Check

Mold, Allergen, Fiberglass, Formaldehyde, Organic Vapors, Dust Mite, Bacteria IAQ Screen Checks are all available for the do-it-yourselfer

Tampa, Fl --  www.IAQScreenCheck.com through its affiliation with Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab) provides an array of do-it-yourself indoor air quality (IAQ) screen tests for both commercial client as well as consumers.  The IAQ Screen Checks are economical and easy to use.

The latest product offering is the Organic Vapor Screen Check (OVSC) that allows the occupant the ability to screen for over 40 common indoor chemicals.  The OVSC will provide concentration of each chemical isolated and all have occupational exposure limits.  They are all common chemicals that may exist in the home or office.

It is extremely easy to obtain accurate results for personal exposure and room concentrations. When the package is opened, the user records the time and additional information, such as name, work performed, etc. The badge is clipped near the breathing zone for personal monitoring or placed in the room for area monitoring. When the test is completed, the time is recorded and the badge is sealed in the original package and returned for analysis in the mailer provided. The laboratory measures the amount of the vapor collected. The monitoring badges are calibrated to directly give the time-weighted average concentration (TWA) in parts per million (ppm). The TWA concentration is what is required for OSHA compliance.

"We are proud to add chemcial assessments to our succesful line of do-it-yourself IAQ Screen Check products designed for both consumers and businesses" stated Alan Wozniak, President/CEO.  "Our prodcuts are also available at many fine distributors such as Carrier Air Conditioning, Victors Distributors, Yandle-Witherspoon among others across the country" Wozniak added.

Analysis results are available in 48 hours, or less. Results will be sent by FAX or phone on the same day that the exposed monitors are received, if a request is made. There is on additional charge.

The monitoring badges are manufactured and packaged so that the shelf life can be guaranteed for at least one year (6 months optimum for glutaraldehyde).
 Benefits of the OVSC include:

*      Easy to use - Same badge for 15 minute or 8 hour sampling

*      This is the lowest cost method to measure exposure to toxic vapors
