Todd Marinovich, Former NFL quarterback, Busted on Possession of Drugs
At one time Todd Marinovich was touted as a can’t miss NFL Hall of Famer. Of course that was before he ever took a snap for the Los Angeles Raiders and after two seasons in the league the left handed quarterback’s career was over and a serious drug problem was present.
On Sunday the downward spiral continued for Marinovich as he was arrested by police who discovered close to a gram of powdered methamphetamine, a spoon, and a syringe hidden in a guitar case that the former star was carrying.
The arrest came about after Marinovich was seen skateboarding in a restricted area close to the Newport Pier boardwalk. When police approached Marinovich the 38-year-old ran. He was found a short time later hiding in a carport.
