Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards demands apology for bad concert reviews

‘Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards is demanding an apology from music critics who gave the Stones bad concert reviews. The Swedish music critics expressed their dislike for the concert and even suggested Richards was “superdrunk” while performing. They said he appeared “a bit confused” and gave the concert a 2 on a scale of 5.

Richards became very angry after reading the reviews and is demanding they apologize for them. He wrote a letter that was published saying, “This is a first! Never before have I risen to the bait of a bad review. But this time…I have to stand up… for our fans all over Sweden…to say that you owe them, and us, and apology.”

“There were 56,000 people in Ullevi stadium who bought a ticket to our concert – and experienced a completely different show than the one you ‘reviewed,’” he added.

“I am not going to apologize for my subjective opinion,” said one of the critics. “It is Keith who should apologize. After all it costs around 1,000 kronor to see a rock star who can hardly handle the (guitar) riff to ‘Brown Sugar’ any more.”

Richards and the Stones frontman Mick Jagger wrote many hits together for the British band. Their best selling album ‘Some Girls’ sold more than 8 million copies and included their number one hit “Miss You.” He has also done solo recordings. Richards also appeared with Johnny Depp in “Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.”
