Carrie Underwood Releasing Highly Anticipated Album "Carnival Ride"

Carrie Underwood is set to  release her sophomore album ‘Carnival Ride’ on October 23, 2007.

"Carnival Ride" follows her debut album, ‘Some Hearts’, which was certified 6 x platinum and was named the fastest selling debut country album in Nielsen Sound Scan history.

This American Idol winner plans to follow up her previous success in album sales with her new album ‘Carnival Ride’.

New tracks on the album include ‘So Small’, ‘Just a Dream’ and a remake of Randy Travis’s 'I Told You So.'

Although Underwood states “I don't feel I'm ready to headline. What if nobody shows up? It would be absolutely horrifying if nobody showed up." She plans to begin a tour sometime in 2008.
