Kohl's Corp. (NYSE:KSS) announces increasing financial earnings due to strong sales in the fourth quarter. Kohl’s, known for its reasonably priced products, delivered a full-year prediction which was somewhat accurate to Wall Street's expectations. But its first-quarter earnings were below analyst’s anticipation. It offered a guarded sales approach for the year along with an indecisive economy. Shares elevated to $2.49, almost 5 percent, to $54.08 as results beat Wall Street predictions.

"Demand will continue to be weak throughout 2010 and sales will be fueled by taking market share away from rivals”, Kevin Mansell, Kohl's president, Chairman and CEO told investors.
