Sublime and Brad Nowell Estate Settle on New Band Name, With Tour to Follow

Sublime, decided upon the new band name, Sublime With Rome. The group is set to go on tour this spring and summer. The band includes the original drummer of Sublime, Bud Gaugh, and bassist, Eric Wilson with singer-guitarist Rome Ramirez.

The tour is set to kick off in Los Angeles at the Palladium. Sublime With Rome has already announced 6 tour dates, with more on the way.

Pre-sales for the tour will begin March 2nd. This is the first time in 14 years where Gaugh and Wilson will play under the Sublime name, since the death of Bradley Nowell.

It took a while to get the band on the road because of a legal situation in which Nowell’s family and estate sued and was granted the right to prevent them from using that name. All parties however, have agreement to the Sublime With Rome name, and the group set up a new website, sublimewithrome.com.
