Hurricane Felix Upgraded to Category 5, Honduras and Belize in Path

Hurricane Felix has been upgraded to a Category 5 storm after a day of growing intensity in the Caribbean Sea elevated its status.

Feliz now has sustained winds of 165 mph after passing north of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao on Sunday causing severe flooding in the islands. Hurricane Felix is now moving towards Central America where it is expected to hit north of Honduras by Tuesday.

Experts predict Hurricane Felix to move up the Yucatan peninsula early Wednesday hitting Belize and Mexico.
