Due to a decrease in the value of the US Dollar, Europeans are learning that they can visit the United States for cheap -- by travel agents and US hotels that have begun targetting them. A luxurious night out in Chicago will cost half as much as the same night in Rome. Talk about saving money while travelling!
USATravelPal.com has just completed a thorough California travel guide of about 500 of the most popular destinations and have just unveiled plans on expanding that to all 50 states. It's success, they say, will be correlated to the foreign travel market. "Because of increased gasoline prices, travellers are taking fewer long distance road trips." They continue on to say "Americans already have an idea as to where they want to go before they go, for European and Asian tourists, the road is an open book".
American travellers will also find the web site very useful once it is completed but there is no denying the European market of travellers.
