Race car driver Billy Kimmel Killed in Crash Sunday Night
Sprint race car driver Billy Kimmel was killed on Sunday night when his vehicle was involved in a three-car crash at the Williams Grove Speedway.
The accident occurred on the 24th lap of the 25-lap race and Kimmel quickly airlifted to the Harrisburg Hospital via a Life Lion medical helicopter but was pronounced dead at 11:59 p.m.
The 27-year-old Kimmel raced in 305, 360 and 410 sprints.
