Shaquille O’Neal Files for Divorce
Shaquille O’Neal filed for divorce from his wife of nearly five years, Shaunie O’Neal, on Tuesday.
The two were married on December 26, 2002 and have six children, four together and each have one child from a relationship prior to their wedding.
Shaq’s attorney Ira Elegant filed the petition for divorce at the Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Tuesday and as part of the filing requested that Shaunie supply a “correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities” that she had access to or acquired while the two were married.
The 35-year-old Shaquille O'Neal will be entering his 16th NBA season when he returns as the Miami Heat center in 2007-08.
