Shaquille O'Neal Files For Divorce from Wife Shaunie
Miami Heat center and perennial NBA All-Star Shaquille O'Neal has filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie. In divorce papers filed Tuesday, O'Neal claimed his marriage has been "irretrievably broken," and accuses her of being shady with his cash.
The couple has four children together, and each has one from a previous relationship. They got married in 2002 in a lavish wedding in Beverly Hills.
O'Neal claims that his wife was very secretive about her assets, prompting him to ask the Miami court to perform a full investigation into every single source of income she obtained throughout the marriage. He also stated that he forced his wife to sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
As far as custody, O'Neal says the children should stay with his wife, but that he should receive "liberal rights of visitation"
