Dave Matthews Band and The Allman Brothers Band to perform at Piedmont Park in Atlanta

Dave Matthews Band and The Allman Brothers Band are set to perform at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park on Saturday September 8th. This “green concert” is one of many benefit concerts Dave Matthews Band has played that helps raise money for parks all across the United States.

The concert is expected to raise more than $1 million for the 53 acre expansion of Piedmont Park. Fans attending the concert are asked not to drive. There will be no parking on-site or in nearby areas. Transportation suggestions include taking Marta, walking or biking to the park.

At the concert fans can also see the latest ‘green initiatives’ and get tips on how to help the environment.

Gates open to general admission at 4:00 pm. The Allman Brothers Band will begin performing at 5:30, with Dave Matthews Band following at 8:05.
