Nike Supports Tiger Woods

Nike will continue to support Tiger Woods, despite his being the subject of negative media attention since November, when Woods was involved in a car crash that sparked revelations of his marital infidelity. Nike brand president Charlie Denson said, “"We're very comfortable with where he's at, how he's dealing with it and we're looking forward to his return." AT&T and Accenture have already dropped Woods as a sponsor, and his future as a sponsor for Gillette and Tag Heuer remains uncertain. Tiger Woods is a 14-time winner of Major Champions and is currently ranked number 1 in the world. In a recent public appearance, Woods said that he does intend to return to golf, possibly within the year, so we may soon witness the return of this golf legend.
