Starbucks Opens First Cafe in Russia

The first Starbucks café has finally opened in Russia. After a year long legal battle prevented the coffee giant from opening its doors the dispute has been resolved and ubiquitous chain is now in business. 

 

The menu includes a majority of Starbucks best sellers as well as muffins and other dishes aimed at Russian preferences. The new Russian Starbucks even offers mushroom sandwiches.

 

The store is owned and operated by a Kuwaiti firm named Alshaya. It is conveniently located in a Moscow shopping mall. The second store is predicted to open by the end of this year.
