The 50 Cent and Kanye West rap battle will end on September 11, 2007 as two of the biggest selling artists in hip hop will finally put their new albums in record stores all over the world. Kanye West’s “Graduation” and 50 Cent’s “Curtis” has created quite a stir in the hip hop world with both insisting they will outsell the other.
Both albums have been leaked on the internet over the past two weeks. In addition Kanye West has been playing his album for groups of listeners around the world and campaigning for it.
On the other hand 50 Cent has released two singles, ‘I Get Money’ and ‘Ayo Technology’ featuring Justin Timberlake, to radio prior to his entire album ‘Curtis’ being leaked on the internet.
The ‘Rap Industry feud’ has benefited both rappers; the two rappers face off on the cover of this month's Rolling Stone Magazine. Kanye West has publicly thanked 50 Cent for inspiring the media into doing the rappers jobs for them through this long campaigning process.
Both highly anticipated albums are set to be released on September 11, 2007. The two rappers will also appear on BET's "106 & Park" on Tuesday. The event will be modeled like a boxing match, and will even feature ESPN's Stuart Scott to give a statistical breakdown of the two rappers.
