Country music singer Joe Nichols marries longtime girlfriend Heather Singleton

Nichols and Singleton wed in Savannah, Georgia at the 267-year-old Bethesda School for Boys in front of almost 100 family and friends.

Before the ceremony Singleton, wearing a Vera Wang gown, said she was sure now was the right time to tie the knot. “The timing was always wrong, but in hindsight, it was probably right, because we weren’t ready then,” she said. “Now is the right time. I’m so sure, I’m not even nervous.”

“Right now I feel like the happiest man in the world,” Nichols said.
