Kanye West says he'll never return to MTV Awards Again

Rapper Kanye West reportedly had a tantrum on Sunday night following his failure to win a single award at the MTV VMAs. West's latest outburst was caught on film by several members of the media and camera crews and called to mind Kanye's breakdown at last year's VMAs in Europe. 

According to reports Kanye West was waiting for an elevator in a crowded hallway and began yelling about losing all five categories for which he was nominated, including male artist of the year.

"That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," stated Kanye stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a near by reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I'm trying hard man, I have the No. 1 record, man.”

West appeared not only upset at the fact that he did not win a award, but apparently during his backstage tantrum West also stated his frustration with Britney Spears performing at the awards “ I cant believe she would perform, She hasn’t had a hit in like 5 million years.”

Kanye West's latest album, "Graduation," is due out Tuesday September 11, 2007. 50 Cent has previously stated that he'd stop making solo records if West's CD outsells his "Curtis" album, also set for release Tuesday September 11, 2007.
