Bin Laden Releases New Video on the Eve of September 11

As Tuesday marks the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the infamous al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, appears once again with a 30 minute video posted on an Islamist website.

The last time the world saw him was in 2004, just before the U.S. presidential elections. Since then he has released an audio message that was also posted on Islamist websites in 2006.

With the release of his new video, just before the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Bin Laden will disperse the rumors stating that he has been dead for the past three or more years, in addition to reminding his supporters and enemies that he is still at large.

Surprisingly, Bin Laden looks younger than he did three years ago. Instead of the old, grey beard, it now appears dark black, more full and thick, and trimmed. Some have stated that his beard was dyed, however others think it may be false.

Besides appearance, the video gives no clues as to where it was produced. Only a plain background is shown, making it more difficult than the other videos to figure out the location.

The last known location of Bin Laden was in late 2001 while he was preparing to escape the caves of Tora Bora. It is assumed that he has traveled east to Pakistan. There is evidence of Bin Laden receiving great hospitality and shelter by the local tribesman belonging to the Taliban.

This video has been coincidentally released at a time where most Americans are vulnerable and concerned about next year’s presidential election activities.

Many believe that Osama Bin Laden’s video releases are a part of his strategic plan set to ignite in the near future.
