Britney Spears MTV Awards Performance Was A Disaster

Pop star Britney Spears opened up with her highly anticipated television comeback on Sunday night's MTV VMAs and the result was nothing short of a train wreck.

Critics and celebrity viewers state that Spears seemed out of sorts. Fellow performer Akon said,  “She seemed nervous you could tell by the expression on her face, Instead of just blocking everybody out and doing her thing, you could tell she was thinking about it."  

Spears performed her new single ‘Gimme More’ while she gyrated half naked over her fellow back up dancers for a series of minutes.

Overall Britney Spears acclaimed ‘come back’ was dreadful, tasteless and disappointing.

Britney Spears new album is scheduled for release on November 13, 2007
