September 11 anniversary to be marked by Osama bin Laden second video

Osama bin Laden will appear for the second time this week in a video that will mark the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. As al-Qaida has done every year, bin Laden will present the last will and testament of one of the suicide hijackers.

Each year since the 2001 attacks, old footage of bin Laden has appeared in the videos, but this year it appears to be a newly made video.

After three years of not appearing in any videos, bin Laden released a new video over the weekend where he addressed the American people. He said the War in Iraq is a failure and asked America to abandon democracy and adopt Islam.

On Monday, al-Qaida announced bin Laden’s second video appearance with a banner on an Islamic militant website. “Coming soon, God willing, from the testaments of the martyrs of the New York and Washington attacks: The testament of the martyr Abu Musab Waleed al-Shehri, presented by Sheik Osama bin Laden, God preserve him,” it read.
