White Stripes Cancel U.S. Tour

The White Stripes have cancelled the rest of their U.S. fall  tour dates due to drummer Meg White's medical issues.  According to sources Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety.

 

The rock band duo Meg and Jack White have cancelled all future show dates until further notice. The tour was set to kick off on September 13, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and run through until October 10,2007  in Honolulu.

 

Refunds for cancelled show dates are currently available at points of purchase. More sources state that for now, a nine date tour of the United Kingdom, beginning October 24,2007  in Glasgow, Scotland  is still on the books.

On September 18,  the White Stripes will release their new single, ‘You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told),’ both digitally and on CD.
