Tropical Storm Humberto Leads to Warnings for Texas and Louisiana Coasts

With winds sustaining 45 mph Tropical Storm Humberto was born on Wednesday and is expected to cause serious flooding in parts of Texas and Louisiana.

Forecasters have issued warnings that a storm surge flooding of two-three feet when Humberto hits land. When Humberto strikes it will drop up to 15 inches of rain along the middle and upper Texas coast as well as southwest Louisiana.

Tropical Storm Humberto became the eighth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season.
