White Stripes Cancel UK Tour

Rock band duo Meg and Jack White cancelled their UK tour. The eight date arena tour was scheduled to kick off in Glasgow, Scotland on October 24, 2007 and run through until November 2, 2007 at London's O2 Arena.

White Stripes announced on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 that drummer Meg White was suffering from acute anxiety, leaving her incapable of traveling between concert venues.

Refunds for cancelled show dates are currently available at points of purchase.

On September 18, 2007 the White Stripes will release their new single, ‘You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told),’ both digitally and on CD.
