Tests indicate Madeleine McCann died of sedative overdose, police raid McCann home

Forensic tests of Madeleine McCann’s body fluids found in her parents car show the four-year-old had taken in a large amount of sleeping pills.

Police named Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, official suspects after they found traces of blood and body fluids belonging to Madeleine in a car the McCann’s rented 25 days after their daughter went missing.

Portuguese police have examined photocopies of Kate McCann’s diary and have learned that she was struggling with her ‘hysterical’ children. New reports have surfaced that British detectives are seeking to raid the McCann family home in Leicestershire. Among things listed to be seized if the raid occurs is a Gerry’s laptop and Kate’s diary.

Meanwhile, social workers have visited the McCann’s in relation to their twins, Sean and Amelie.

Gerry and Kate McCann adamantly deny any involvement in the disappearance of their daughter.
