O.J. Simpson girlfriend Christie Prody visits him in jail

O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday in connection with a robbery case involving sports memorabilia Simpson claims was stolen from him. Simpson was taken to the Las Vegas Detention Center where he was visited by his girlfriend, Christie Prody, and his sister, Shirley Simpson-Baker.

Baker and Prody were only aloud to talk to Simpson through video. The pair was assigned a cubicle to where they sat and talked to the former football player.

An audio tape of the robbery has emerged and is thought to feature Simpson using explicit language and yelling at the alleged victims of the robbery.

Simpson was charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon and burglary charges. If convicted the 60-year-old could reportedly face up to 30 years in jail for each count.

Simpson was notoriously tried for the 1994 brutal murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman. He was acquitted to the charges in 1995, but found liable for the deaths in a 1997 civil suit. His book, ‘If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer’ has recently been published. In the book Simpson recounts the murders of Nicole and Ron had he murdered them.
