‘Weeds’ star Mary-Louise Parker adopts African baby girl

Parker was spotted with her new bundle of joy over the weekend in Los Angeles. Her publicist confirmed that Parker, who was a presenter at the Emmy Awards on Sunday, has adopted a baby girl.

This isn’t Parker’s first child. The 43-year-old actress has a biological son with ex-boyfriend Billy Crudup. Parker and Crudup dated for eight years before splitting in 2004.

Parker's Emmy nominated role on Weeds and her new baby isn’t the only thing that has been keeping the star busy; she is also starring with Brad Pitt in the upcoming western film “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.”
