Led Zeppelin Might Consider Performing in Belfast Ireland

Legendary rock group Led Zeppelin’s lead singer Robert Plant wants to bring

Led Zeppelin back to Belfast, Ireland where the band first played their classic hit

‘Stairway to Heaven’ in 1971.

The rock band which is also scheduled to perform in November 2007, are now in the process of considering another concert in Belfast at the Ulster Hall after thirty six years.

Robert Plant is reportedly eager to persuade the other original band members, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, to return to Belfast for a performance with him.

The band broke up in 1980 after the tragic death of former band drummer John Bonham.

It has even been rumored that, when Belfast’s Ulster Hall reopens in November 2008 after renovation, the rock band will be set for a future performance.

'Stairway to Heaven' is one of the biggest rock anthems ever, although it was never released as a single.

Led Zeppelin's performance in November at London’s O2 Arena will mark as their first concert together in 19 years.
