Hillary Clinton Packing Political Bags For Washington Trip

As Hillary Clinton appears ready to take a run at the White House, the baggage left over from her husband’s tumultuous presidency seems to be picking up more weight. While using the former President as a spokesman for her campaign, Clinton the candidate is focusing on her experience as the former First Lady and her time spent as the Senator from New York.

Since Clinton the former president may have exasperated the politicos in Washington by not readily admitting he had an affair with an intern, his wife publicly offered forgiveness, despite many recommendations from women’s group to put that bag on its own train out of town. There are some voters that see her act of forgiveness as a means of securing her place in politics.

On the other front, many Clinton backers see the trials and tribulations she faced during the scandal that marked her husband’s presidency as proof of her ability to handle diversity. During the hearings she stood by her man, at least publicly, and made peace within the family before moving on to her own political career as a Senator from New York and now a candidate for the Democrat nomination for President of the United States. According to USA Election Polls (USAElectionPolls.com), Obama is trailing Senator Clinton by 20%.

Just how much help her husband will be during the primary election season remains to be seen, but one thing that appears to be present in her campaign is the former President. With his approval rating continuing to rise the longer he is out of office, the Clintons appear poised to have a real chance of moving back into the White House.
