The demand for the rock bands reunion performance was so great that it crashed London's O2 Arena's website within hours of its launch. As a result of the website crashing ticket registration was extended from Monday September 17 until September 19, 2007.
Due to the high demand for tickets, Led Zeppelin fans had to register for the ballot and the £125 tickets which will be distributed randomly by October 1, 2007.
The concert is being held to raise money for the late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun who has developed an Education Fund in his memory, which pays for university scholarships in the United States,
