The Importance Of Voting In The 2008 Presidential Election - John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama

With so many important topics being discussed it is our duty as Americans to do what is best for our country. If we don’t take the time to let our government know how we the people feel about our life and the system of things within our government than we can not be displeased with how our country is run. Some of the important topics include the following: Illegal immigration, Healthcare reform, and Abortion and Gay marriage. We have some very experienced, strong and committed candidates in this year’s election. Republicans such as Sen. John McCain will fight to be Pro-life, possibly saving millions of innocent lives of children. Democrats including Sen. Hillary Clinton may change history by becoming the first woman to be commander in chief.

Republicans and democrats both are testing the boundaries of religion and politics like never before. Barack Obama has faced this trial before in his election in 2004 up against Alan Keys. He fought and one and we should not be surprised to see him into victory again. Duncan Hunter will fight to prevent further illegal immigration. His plans are to build a fence stretching 854 miles along our countries southern border. According to USA Election Polls (USAElectionPolls.com), Duncan Hunter is polling best in Western States. But with his low polling numbers, his small portions are not likely significant.

The election of 2008 is sure to bring about some long awaited topics to be discussed and we can hope that through these discussions and debates that our world will be changed through our next president in the 2008 election. With this in mind be sure to let your vote count towards the changing of our world and lives, as we know them.
