The photographs of Oscar de la Hoya in pantyhose are doctored, according to the boxer's Creative Artists Agency agent Jack Tiernan.
"They're completely manufactured," said Tiernan. "The pictures have been manipulated or manufactured, and the matter has been referred to his attorney." Tiernan says de la Hoya's attorney had spoken with the fighter, who said as much.
Calls to Stephen Espinoza, the attorney, were not immediately returned.
The pictures of de la Hoya have been plastered on celebrity gossip and paparazzi web sites with the boxer in fishnet stockings and women's underwear.
