Jimmie Johnson Wins Sprint Cup Series Race

NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson won his second consecutive Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday. There have only been 6 races so far in this series, and Johnson has won 3 of those. But "We don't feel invincible," explained Johnson, referring to his Hendrick Motorsports team. Jeff Gordon, who also races for Hendrick, finished third. Kevin Harvick, who drives for Richard Childress Racing, came in second for the second time in a row, and he says of his team that “We can run with them, and they know it.” Johnson is a 4-time Sprint Cup Series champion. Last year, he became the only driver to win 4 consecutive Sprint Cup Series championships. Despite the confidence of his competition, Johnson may make history once again this year.
