Kanye West Beats 50 Cent Again at Mobo Awards In London

Rap star Kanye West beats rapper 50 Cent yet another time at Wednesday’s MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards in London.

Kanye West took home the Best Hip Hop Act award. Earlier on Wednesday, Billboard released the list of first-week sales. It was officially determined that West won the battle against 50 by outselling him in their first-week. After their albums were released on September 11, West's "Graduation" sold 957,000 copies, while 50's 'Curtis' sold 691,000 in the United States.

Other MOBO Awards included Amy Winehouse, who was named Best U.K. Female. Singer and songwriter Ne-Yo collected both the Best R&B title and Best Song for hit single ‘Because Of You’. Rihanna also won Best International Act for ‘Umbrella’.
