Bobby Brown Supporting JENA 6 At Hip Hop Concert In Alabama

Bobby Brown, the king of R and B and ex husband of pop star Whitney Houston, is teaming up with first class

R and B acts such as Nick Cannon, Lloyd, Tank, and Jagged Edge to support JENA 6 with a live concert on September 29, 2007 in Birmingham, Alabama.

The concert was developed to raise awareness about the JENA 6 controversy.

According to reports, organizers of the hip hop concert in Alabama hope that this event will raise national awareness of the incidents surrounding the case, in which six African American teenagers appear to be victims of a racial incident. Critics of how the case was handled include civil rights activists Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who have both publicly stated that the case was racially motivated.
