Karl Rove’s Leaving Has Effect on Races

Many people might believe that the resignation of Karl Rove simply has an effect on the White House as it stands now, and on the Bush presidency. They believe that this is the extent of this however, because it will not have any impact on the rest of the country or on the other races.

However, there are several things that the leaving of Karl Rove is going to do for several members of the different races going on around the country. First of all, for the Democrats, Karl Rove is a good sign. It means that some of what they were concerned about – problems within the Oval Office, problems within the government, actually came to fruition and is something that they should really be worrying about. For many in the Democratic party, this is a chance for them to say that they told everyone so, and that everyone should listen to them from now on.

On the other hand, this gives the Republicans a chance to step away from the White House and put themselves in another position and in another place. This is something that might be hard for them to do, but there are many reasons that distancing themselves from Karl Rove and from what is going on with him is a good idea for the Republicans, and this is what many of them are doing.

According to USA Election Polls (USAElectionPolls.com), Thompson is barely trailing Guiliani and is standing at 20%. Thompson is doing best in the Southern States.

In this day and age, you are known by who you associate with, and any one who can disassociate themselves with someone who is not popular is going to be even more popular.
