Barack Obama Takes Direct Approach

There are many questions that are facing the people of America as they look to make their choices for voting in the primaries. There are many great candidates that they can choose from, and the candidates themselves have a lot to say about why they would be good for the job.

Barack Obama is taking a direct approach with voters in America. When he has been talking to groups of voters about why he is the best choice, there are several things that he simply doesn’t wait for them to ask. One of those questions is “Why you instead of Hillary?” He has been posing this question at some of his rallies and speeches lately, and answering it before the audience has even had a chance to ask him. He feels that this is one of the most important factors facing him in the election. Also, he thinks that this is one of the main reasons that people will hold off voting for him – in favor of Hillary.

His answer is quite simple. He answers himself by saying that even though Hillary might have more experience in the Senate, others that have come before her – such as Donald Rumseld and Dick Cheney, had plenty of experience, and still led America into Iraq, which Obama feels was a mistake. He also says that even though he might not have been around as long, and even though he stands for the end of personal attacks when it comes to elections, he is strong enough and competent enough to defend himself in the terms of a general election. He feels confidant that he can win a nationwide election, and that the younger and minority voters will be ready and willing to vote for him. He also quipped that if he is able to beat the Clintons in the primary, there is no question as to whether he can beat whomever the Republicans put up in the national election.
