Hannah Montana Ticket Shortage Gets Investigated By City Council

Disney television superstar Miley Cyrus’s ‘Best of Both Worlds’ concert tickets are selling out all over the United States.

According to sources parents and Hannah Montana fans are disappointed and frustrated due to the high demand for concert tickets.

The City Council of Kansas City was recently confronted by consumer complaints in reference to the outrageous pricing for tickets. In addition to high priced tickets, the scheduled concert for December 3,2007 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City was sold out minutes after they went on sale leaving numerous parents and children unhappy.

The uproar has provoked city officials to demand Ticketmaster and the Kansas City Sprint Center to explain how some brokers were selling tickets at higher prices.

Sources that work at the Sprint Center stated that “It's been a few years since Kansas City experienced shows that had this type of demand, “Hannah Montana is a phenomenon.  This is happening across the nation.”

Hannah Montana’s original sale price for tickets ranged from $26 to $56, tickets are currently advertised up to $1,000 or higher.

Miley Cyrus daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus plans to perform hits from her solo album as well as songs from her popular television character ‘Hannah Montana’ on her current tour.

A two disc album featuring songs from the second season of Hannah Montana television series and Miley Cyrus’s debut as a solo artist, was released on June 26, 2007.
