Elton John in child-porn investigation for Nan Goldin photograph
Nan Goldin, a famed photographer, took the photo, but it is apart of Elton John’s private ‘Thanksgiving’ collection. The photo shows a young girl sitting with her legs spread.
Police believe the picture may break child pornography laws and say, “Who owns it or owned it is also apart of the investigation.”
Elton admires the “directness, truth and poignancy” of Goldin’s work. A warning describing the explicitness of the art exhibit was posted for viewers to read before seeing the art. The message warned viewers that the art may contain explicit language, nudity, sexual imagery and violence.
