White-Lipped Keelback among 11 New Species of Animals and Plants Discovered in Vietnam

Scientists in Vietnam’s “Green Corridor” have discovered 11 new species of animals and plants that are believed to be unique to the tropical forests in which they were found.

The species were found in the Annamite mountain range which runs parallel to Vietnam’s coast. Commonly referred to as the “Green Corridor,” the area has been the location for several recent discoveries made by scientists. Among the other species of animals discovere din the area are the Annamite rabbit, the saola, the huge gaur and the indochinese tiger.
